MovieSalsa is an excellent program for time-lapse movies creation. The program enables you to create your own movies on the fly. MovieSalsa takes Jpeg images and produces an .AVI file. It can be useful for science fairs and for schools, for example, to show a plant growing and so on. To create a movie you should specify the still image directory, then use the “Time filter” option to define the start and stop time or ignore the file time. Then select the interval for images. You can use all images at once or define the quantity of images per hour and the number of times this image will be repeated. Also you can adjust the “Time Stamp” option. Besides, you can control your output movie size: the size can be based on the first image size or you can point out your width and height. Moreover, you can specify the output directory and use the compression options if you want. Then press the “Make Movie” button and you can preview your film. The program comes with built-in MovieSalsa Scheduler program that can help you to automate the movie making process. MovieSalsa works under Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, ME and XP.
